You talk with local business owners and connect them with our team. You earn 15% of every sale, one time or monthly, for as long as the customer stays.

- 15% of everything your customers pay us, one-time sales and every monthly payment, for as long as the customer stays with BuzFind.
- Payment
- In US dollars, by PayPal, Zelle, Venmo or paper check. Each commission can be paid 14 days after the customer’s payment, and a refund cancels it. We need your W-9 before the first payment, and we send you a 1099-NEC when the IRS requires one.

- Your own. Part time is fine.

Who we are
BuzFind helps small businesses show up on Google. BuzFind started in 2004, and today we’re based in Portland, Indiana. We do SEO, build websites, and run a set of AI helpers that check a business’s website and write clear fix lists. A real person reviews the work before it reaches the customer.

The job in plain words
Lots of business owners know they should be easier to find online. Most don’t know where to start, and many have been burned by an agency before. Your job is to have an honest conversation with them, figure out what they need, and connect them with our team.
You won’t build websites or do SEO yourself. Our team does the work, sends the quote when one is needed, and looks after the customer. Your part is the people side: the first talk, the follow-up, and staying in touch.
A normal week
- Find local businesses that are hard to find online: shops, contractors, restaurants, dentists, salons, law offices.
- Start real conversations in person, by phone, by email, or on LinkedIn. One person at a time, never mass messages.
- Listen first. Ask how customers find them today and what’s not working.
- Explain our plans and public prices in simple words.
- Book a free 30-minute call with our team, or send us the contact with a short note.
- Follow up at the right time, without pushing.
- Keep a simple list of who you talked to and where each one stands.

Who we’re looking for
People skills matter most. Owners buy from someone they trust. We want people who listen, stay friendly when the answer is no, and keep their word. We’ll teach you the rest.
What you need
- Good people skills, out loud and in writing.
- Clear, fluent English.
- A phone, a computer, and internet at home.
- Being 18 or older, living in the US, and being allowed to work here.
- Agreeing to our rules: no spam, no robocalls or mass texts, no ranking promises, and no price changes without our written OK.
Nice to have
- Spanish. Many owners are more comfortable in Spanish, and we have Spanish pages to share.
- Some sales or customer service experience.
- Knowing lots of local business owners in your town.

An honest word before you apply
Commission-only work isn’t for everyone, and that’s okay. Some months will be slow, especially at the start, while you build a list of people who know and trust you. There’s no base pay to fall back on.
What makes it worth it is the monthly part. Each customer who stays on a plan keeps paying you, month after month. Over time, those small monthly amounts can add up.
We will never ask you to pay anything to join, buy a starter kit, or recruit other reps.
Questions people ask
Is this a salaried job?
No. It’s an independent contractor role paid only by commission: 15% of one-time sales and 15% of monthly payments while the customer stays. There’s no base pay, and you never pay us anything to join.
Do I need to know SEO or web design?
No. Our team does all the work. We teach you to explain our services in plain words, so a business owner understands what they’re buying.
How long do I keep earning on a monthly customer?
For as long as that customer keeps paying BuzFind for the plan you sold. If they stay two years, you earn 15% of every one of those monthly payments.
How do I get credit for a customer?
You get your own team space with a personal link. When a business owner buys through your link, or pays with the email of a business you added to your list first, the customer is yours. It all happens by itself, and you see every payment and every commission in your space.
Can I do this next to another job?
Yes. You set your own hours. Many people start part time.
