Here is what happens, from the first form to a live website.
- You tell us about the company. A short form asks for your company name, the towns you serve, the kinds of jobs you take (kitchens, baths, additions, roofing), your domain name, and your logo. Have your license and insurance details handy.
- You pay the one-time build fee. Plus the first month of hosting if we host the site. The price on this page is what you pay.
- The Site Builder builds your pages. You can watch its progress in your dashboard. It writes starter text that lists each type of job you take, with a call button on every page. Want a separate page for kitchens or additions? Add extra pages at $29 each.
- You check the preview on your own phone. Look at it the way a homeowner would between jobs. Is your license number right? Are the towns right? Ask for changes as many times as you need.
- You approve, and the site goes live. If BuzFind manages your domain, we connect it for you. If it is managed somewhere else, we send you the DNS records to add at your domain company and help you set them up. The SSL padlock is included either way.
- After launch, you change your words yourself and send us the rest. You can edit the text on your pages any time from your dashboard. For anything else, open a support ticket and we make the change at our hourly rate, with a written estimate first. For example: send before-and-after photos from a finished job, add a new town, or add a new type of project.

What you get, in writing
Before you pay, you should know exactly what you are buying. Here it is, with nothing hidden.
Included in every package
- A set number of pages: 2 (Web Presence), 4 (Business Website), 4 plus a blog (Blog Website), or 5 pages plus 20 product pages with a cart and Stripe checkout (E-Commerce). Extra pages are $29 each, and extra products are $75 each.
- A design built for phones first. You can open the preview on your own phone and computer before you approve it.
- A contact page with tap-to-call and email buttons. A contact form is not part of the packages, but we can add one as a custom extra, billed by the hour.
- An SEO-ready build: every page gets its own title and description, clean headings, schema markup, and a sitemap Google can read. Ongoing SEO work, like keyword research, content, and local SEO, is a separate service.
- An SSL certificate (the padlock and HTTPS), included for as long as we host your site. If you host it somewhere else, SSL is up to that host.
- If we host your site: hosting is $19 a month. The first month is paid at checkout with your build.
- Unlimited revisions to the preview before you approve it. Nothing goes live until you say so.
Help after launch, and what it costs
- Hosting ($19 a month) keeps your site online, with SSL and backups. It doesn't include changes.
- If we host your site, you can change the words on your pages yourself, any time, from your dashboard.
- Other changes after launch (new photos, a new service, a new page) for hosting or plan customers: $110 an hour, with a written estimate first. Just open a support ticket.
- No hosting or plan with us: $150 an hour for a single request, with a 1-hour minimum, then billed in 15-minute steps. You get a written estimate before we start.
- Several things to fix at once? Buy a block of hours: 5 hours for $625 ($125/hour) or 10 hours for $1,100 ($110/hour). Blocks are good for 12 months.

What you own
Your business's website is yours: the design, the code, and the words. If you choose self-hosting, you get the full source code when the site is delivered. If we host your site, ask any time and we send you a full copy. Your domain name should be registered in your name, with an email address you control.
Your part
- Buy your own domain name from any domain company and add the DNS records we give you, so it points to your new site. We do not sell domain names yet.
- Renew your domain name on time. If it lapses, your site and email stop working.
- Keep your hosting paid if we host your site.
- Keep your own copies of everything you send us: your logo, photos, and the words for your pages.
- Send us real photos and real facts about your business, and check that everything the site says is true before you approve it.
SSL included with our hosting. No extra cost.
When your site is hosted with BuzFind, the SSL certificate (the padlock and HTTPS in the browser bar) is included at no charge, on every domain we host, for as long as your hosting stays active. It renews on its own. If your site is hosted somewhere else, SSL is up to that host.

Can our license and insurance information be shown clearly?
Yes. For a contractor, a license number and proof of insurance are important trust signals. We put them where a homeowner will see them, instead of hiding them on a legal page.
Should we have separate pages for kitchens, bathrooms, and additions?
Yes, if those are real service lines for you. A homeowner planning a kitchen remodel searches differently than one planning a home addition. Separate project-type pages let each one speak directly to that search and show the right photos.
Do you build project galleries for contractor websites?
Yes, as an extra page. A before-and-after project gallery is one of the strongest trust signals for a contractor. Send us photos from real jobs, and we build the gallery page for you, quoted in writing first.
Do you build on WordPress or a website builder like Wix or Squarespace?
No. We build every site with Next.js and Tailwind CSS instead, so there are no plugin updates to keep up with while you're busy running job sites. If we host your site, you can change the words on your pages yourself, any time, with Edit my site in your dashboard. When a job wraps up, send us the photos and we add them to your gallery at our hourly rate, with a written estimate first.
What happens after my site launches - do you offer maintenance?
It depends on what you need. Your license renews, your insurance certificate updates, and you will want to add new completed projects to your gallery as you finish them. Our $19/mo hosting keeps your site online, with an SSL certificate and backups included. Hosting doesn't include changes. How long does a contractor website take?
The Site Builder is fast: Web Presence and Business Website previews are built the same day, a Blog Website in 1 to 2 business days, and a store in 5 to 7 after a short planning call. How soon your site goes live depends mostly on how quickly you review the preview and send real photos. For a custom site we design ourselves, the time depends on the kind of site you want and how soon you can send us everything we need. You get the timeline in writing with your quote, before any work starts. We work around your schedule, since you're usually on a job site instead of at a desk. The part that can take some planning is gathering real before-and-after photos from past projects.
