How to use the AI Visibility Auditor

This guide shows you how to run the AI Visibility Auditor, what to type, and how to read what it sends back. To see what it checks and which plans include it, read the AI Visibility Auditor page.

Before you start

  • The exact address you want checked, such as yourbusiness.com or one section of it. The check starts there and follows links on your site, up to 8 pages for the AI Search Visibility Audit.
  • The AI Visibility Auditor picked in one of your seats under My AI agents, then Save selection. If it is not picked, its issues show as Locked in the report.
  • A short note of your real business facts: name, town, and main services. You will compare it with what the report says your pages show.

Step by step

  1. Sign in and open My AI agents in the dashboard menu. Click the AI Visibility Auditor to put it in one of your seats, then click Save selection.
  2. Open the Dashboard page. In the chat box, type what you need in plain words and include your website address.
  3. Wait while the check runs. The answer shows in the chat, and the full report is saved under Audit reports & fixes.
  4. Make the changes you agree with, then send the same request again to see what is still open.

What to type in the chat

Copy one of these requests and change the details to match your business.

Use this for your first check, starting from your homepage.

“Run an AI visibility check on yourbusiness.com/services/”
Use this when one section matters most, since the 8 pages it reads start from the address you type.

“Check if ChatGPT can find yourbusiness.com”
Plain wording like this also starts the AI Search Visibility Audit.

“Run an e-commerce audit on yourstore.com”
Use this for an online store. The AI Visibility Auditor is one of its 4 agents, and it reads up to 10 pages.

“Show me the audit list”
Use this when you are not sure which audit fits, then reply with the number of the one you want.

How to read the results

  • At the top you get a score out of 100. Below it, issues are marked critical, high, medium, or low, so start with critical and high.
  • Each issue from this agent names one page and what it saw there, such as the schema types on the page or a page that does not say clearly who you are.
  • The same audit also runs the Entity Schema Engineer and the Platform Readiness Lead. If they are not in your seats, their issues show as Locked, but this agent's issues still show in full.
  • In Audit reports & fixes, Flagged by: tells you which agent found an issue, and the Fix: line tells you what to change.

What to do next

  • Make the changes on your site, or use Copy fix instructions to send one issue at a time to the person who edits your site.
  • If your site is hosted with BuzFind, some safe issues show a Fix this for me button. You approve each change, and you can undo it.
  • When the changes are live, run the same request on the same address and compare the new list with the old one.
  • Use Download PDF in Audit reports & fixes when you want to share the results.

Tips

  • Do not type a file name like robots.txt in your request. The chat can read it as a website address, so type only your site address.
  • Type your address the way your live site uses it, with or without www, so the check reads the same pages your visitors see.
  • If the report says schema is missing, the Entity Schema Engineer is the agent that writes the JSON-LD code for it.

Questions about using it

Can I check just one page?

You can type the address of one page, but the check also follows links from it and reads up to 8 pages. Each issue still names the exact page it is about.

What if the report finds nothing?

That means the pages it read already show the signals it looks for. When you add a new section, run the check again starting from that section.

Where do I find an older check?

Every finished check is listed in Audit reports & fixes. Open one to see its score, its issues, and the PDF download.
