How to use the Lead Hunter
A step-by-step guide for customers who already have the Lead Hunter in one of their seats.
This guide shows you how to run the Lead Hunter, what to type, and how to read what it sends back. To see what it checks and which plans include it, read the Lead Hunter page.
Before you start
- Open My AI agents, pick the Lead Hunter for a seat, and click Save selection.
- Make a short list of the pages that should bring you calls or forms, like service pages and landing pages.
- Have the address of a page that links to those pages, such as your services list or blog list.
Step by step
- Sign in and open My AI agents in the dashboard menu. Click the Lead Hunter to put it in one of your seats, then click Save selection.
- Open the Dashboard page. In the chat box, type what you need in plain words and include your website address.
- Wait while the check runs. The answer shows in the chat, and the full report is saved under Audit reports & fixes.
- Make the changes you agree with, then send the same request again to see what is still open.
What to type in the chat
Copy one of these requests and change the details to match your business.

Use this to check the pages linked from your homepage; the UI/UX Enhancer and Analytic Seer join in.
“Run a lead generation audit on yourbusiness.com/blog/”
Use this when you think older posts or a deeper section have no way to reach you, because the check starts from the address you give.
“Find ways to get more leads on yourbusiness.com”
Plain wording like this also starts the Lead Generation Audit.
“Run a UX audit on yourbusiness.com”
Use this when you also want headings and page clutter checked; the Lead Hunter runs in this audit too.
How to read the results
- Each Lead Hunter finding names one page that has no form, no phone link, no email link, no click-to-call button and no email in the text.
- Pages with even one way to reach you are left off the list, so a short list is good news.
- Look for Flagged by Lead Hunter, because the other agents in the same audit report on different things.
What to do next
- Add a tap-to-call phone link or a short contact line to each flagged page, starting with the pages that sell a service.
- Click Copy fix instructions to send a finding to your web person, or use Fix this for me on a site hosted with BuzFind.
- Run the same audit again after you publish new pages or change your menu.
Tips
- If you hide your email to stop spam, a click-to-call button or an email typed in the page text still counts as a way to reach you.
- A phone number in plain text, not a tap-to-call link, does not count on its own, so make your number tappable.
- The Lead Hunter only reads your own site and never finds new customers; for post ideas to share, use the Social Automator.
Questions about using it
Why was a page flagged when my menu has a Contact link?
A link to your contact page does not count. The page itself needs a form, a phone link, an email link, a click-to-call button or an email in the text.
Can it check pages that are not linked from my homepage?
Yes. Start the audit from a page that links to them, such as your blog list, because the check follows links from the address you give.
What if the list comes back empty?
Then every page it read had at least one way to reach you. Run it again from another section of your site to check more pages.
