Local SEO Guru
Audits your local search presence and writes you a prioritized fix list - what is broken on your Google Business Profile, where your NAP details disagree, and which on-page changes will move you in the local pack.

What this agent does
The Local SEO Guru is the Geo-Targeting Expert in your BuzFind workforce. Audits your local search presence and writes you a prioritized fix list - what is broken on your Google Business Profile, where your NAP details disagree, and which on-page changes will move you in the local pack.
Local SEO is the difference between a plumber in Fort Wayne who gets called every day and one who has a beautiful website nobody finds. The Local SEO Guru is the agent that diagnoses your local search presence end to end: it crawls your site, reads your contact and location pages, evaluates your local schema, and produces a graded report (0-100) plus a prioritized list of issues with specific recommendations for each. Built for the work you would otherwise pay a $99/month SaaS or a $1,000 freelance audit to do, except inside the BuzFind dashboard and reusable as often as you want.
What it's good at
- Auditing your existing Google Business Profile setup against best practices and reporting gaps
- Identifying NAP (Name, Address, Phone) inconsistencies between your site, footer, contact page, schema, and any GBP info you share
- Spotting missing or misconfigured LocalBusiness / Service schema and recommending fixes
- Finding service-area page gaps for trades that travel between cities
- Grading your local-pack readiness 0-100 and surfacing the 3-5 issues that matter most
- Coordinating with the Authority Content Creator for city + service combo pages when content gaps are found
What this agent is NOT for
- Auto-submitting your business to directories - the agent identifies the gap; you (or a freelancer) handle the actual submissions
- Auto-editing your Google Business Profile - the agent recommends what to change; you log into GBP and make the changes
- Daily or weekly rank tracking - the agent reports point-in-time; rank tracking over time is on the roadmap, not shipped today
- National (non-local) keyword strategy - use the Keyword Strategist
- Pure technical site speed work - use the Speed Optimizer
Picking the wrong agent for the job is one of the most common mistakes new BuzFind customers make. If you are not sure, type your question into the dashboard chat - the orchestrator routes you to the right specialist automatically. You can also browse all 25 agents and pick by name.
A real example
You ask: Audit my plumbing business in Fort Wayne for local SEO problems.
What you get back: A graded report (e.g. "Local SEO Score: 62/100") with a 2-3 sentence executive summary, then a prioritized list of issues. Each issue has a severity (critical / high / medium / low), a short title, a description of what is wrong, and a specific recommendation for how to fix it. Examples from a real audit: "NAP mismatch: phone number on contact page differs from footer", "No LocalBusiness schema on homepage", "GBP service categories incomplete - only 2 of 9 selected". You take the recommendations and either implement them yourself, hand them to a freelancer, or ask the Site Builder + Authority Content Creator to execute the relevant ones.
Which plan includes this agent
This agent is included starting at the Soloist or higher tier. Every plan includes a different mix of agents - see the pricing page for the full breakdown.
The Empire plan ($1,399/mo) unlocks all 25 agents. The Department ($349/mo) and Squad ($179/mo) plans include progressively fewer specialists, picked for the work most small businesses need first. The Soloist plan ($79/mo) gets you a single agent of your choice.

How to actually use it
- Sign in at your dashboard.
- Type a request into the chat. You can mention the agent by name ("Local, do X") or just describe what you need - the orchestrator routes it.
- Approve any actions the agent suggests. Most agents propose changes; you stay in control of what actually ships.
- Review results in the Reports tab. Iterate until the output is what you want.
Frequently asked questions
Does this agent actually log into my Google Business Profile and edit it?
No. The agent reads what is publicly visible about your business and audits your website. It produces a report listing the gaps and the recommended changes. You (or whoever owns the GBP) log in and make the edits. We are not granted access to your GBP. Direct GBP integration is on the roadmap - not shipped today.
Does it submit my business to local directories automatically?
No. The agent identifies which directories you are missing from and prioritizes them; you do the submissions. Auto-submission would require account credentials with each directory and is fragile (directories change their submission flows often). For most small businesses, 5-15 directory submissions is a one-afternoon manual job.
Will I see my rank in the local pack go up over time?
You should, if you implement the recommendations. The agent itself does not track your rank week-over-week today; you would either check manually in an incognito browser or pair it with a $20-50/month rank tracker. Built-in rank tracking is on our roadmap.
How is this different from a $99/month tool like BrightLocal?
BrightLocal automates citation submissions; this agent does not. What this agent does is provide a deeper, more contextual audit (it actually reads your content, not just your NAP) and integrates with the rest of the BuzFind workforce - so when it finds a content gap, it can hand the work off to the Authority Content Creator. Different tool, different shape; for citation-volume work BrightLocal is still better.
Can I run the audit again after I fix things?
Yes - re-run as often as you want, no extra cost on any plan. Most customers re-run monthly to track which issues are still open and which were resolved.
Related agents you might also want
Agents work better together. Here are specialists that pair well with the Local SEO Guru:
- Elite SEO Architect - Audits your existing on-page SEO and recommends a keyword + content strategy: which keywords to target on which page, what is broken on existing pages, and which content gaps to fill.
- Brand Guardian - Audits your brand reputation surface as it appears on your own site - missing trust signals, weak about-page, no review aggregation, no testimonials in critical spots - and returns a fix list.
- Entity Schema Engineer - Audits the schema.
