The Product Owner - Message and Content Gaps

This guide shows you how to run the Product Owner, what to type, and how to read what it sends back. To see what it checks and which plans include it, read the Product Owner page.

Before you start

  • A list of everything you sell and every town you serve. As you read the report, you will mark which ones already have a page of their own.
  • Any pages you already plan to write, so you can see if the report backs them up or points you to others first.
  • Who will write the new pages: you, someone on your team, or the Authority Content Creator.

Step by step

  1. Sign in and open My AI agents in the dashboard menu. Click the Product Owner to put it in one of your seats, then click Save selection.
  2. Open the Dashboard page. In the chat box, type what you need in plain words and include your website address.
  3. Wait while the check runs. The answer shows in the chat, and the full report is saved under Audit reports & fixes.
  4. Make the changes you agree with, then send the same request again to see what is still open.

What to type in the chat

Copy one of these requests and change the details to match your business.

“Find content gaps on yourbusiness.com”
The main request. It starts the Content Backlog Audit, which reads up to 15 pages and follows links up to two clicks from the address you type.

“Find missing pages on yourbusiness.com/services/”
Use this when you think a service or a town has no page of its own. The check starts on your services page.

“Check the messaging and offer on yourbusiness.com”
It starts the Product Strategy Audit, up to 8 pages. There the Product Owner works next to the Product Manager to see how clear your offer is.

How to read the results

  • A thin page finding names the page and says what it is missing. For example, three service pages with only a few sentences each.
  • A gap names a topic or service your own pages hint at but never give a page. For example, your homepage title mentions water heater repair and your services page never does.
  • Critical and high tags are a good place to start, but you set the final order of your list.
  • The E-E-A-T Content Guru runs in the same audit and can add trust and depth findings on articles. Without that agent in a seat, they show as Locked.

What to do next

  • Move the top findings into a short list, one page per line, with the service or town each page will cover.
  • Ask the Authority Content Creator for a draft based on one finding. For example: Write an article about water heater repair in Fort Wayne. Check every fact before you publish it.
  • Once the new pages are live, look for content gaps again and compare the two lists.

Tips

  • It only knows what your site says. If a service is not on any page, the agent has no way to know you offer it.
  • Asking to check your content starts a different audit, the Content Quality Audit. Use the words content gaps or missing pages.
  • To learn what words people search for, use the Keyword Strategist. The Product Owner works from what is on your pages, not from search data.

Questions about using it

Should I ask for content gaps or a messaging check?

Ask for content gaps to find topics with no page and thin pages, across up to 15 pages. Ask for a messaging check to see how clear your offer is, across up to 8 pages with the Product Manager.

Will it write the missing pages for me?

No. It tells you what is missing and what to tackle first. For a draft, use the Authority Content Creator, which writes from a topic you give it.

Can it read pages I have not published yet?

No. It only reads live pages it can reach from the address you type.

Does it need my sales numbers?

No. It works only from what your public pages show. It does not ask for access to anything else.

Agents work better together. Here are specialists that pair well with the Product Owner:

  • Product Manager - Reads your site and points out where your message and offer could be clearer, with broken links or dead-end buttons it can prove.
  • Analytic Seer - Checks whether a tracking tool like GA4 loads on your pages and gives you a plain list of measurement gaps and next steps.
  • Elite SEO Architect - Checks the keywords on your pages and suggests which ones each page should target, what to fix on existing pages, and which topics you are missing.
